Nello summary

There is a boy. His name is Nello. He’s an orphan from area of Flanders. Since two years, Nello lives with his grandpa, Jehan Daas.
Jehan Daas is the former limp army because hard hurt in wars. Altough poor, he doesn’t feel be ladened with the existence of nello. He assume Nello is all important people in his life.
To defray daily life, Jehan daas work as milkman of cow from countryside of hoboken to town of antwerp. He transport all milk cans with wagon which he withdraw from morning till evening. But, Jehan Daas is older. He can’t withdraw the heavy milk wagon anymore, while Nello still young.
One day, Nello and his grandpa, Jehan Daas find a dog of fleming. The dog is almost dead. Out of pity, they bring and take care of the dog until the dog health. The dog name is Patrasche. Patrasche know how to make it up to nello and his Grandpa. Patrasche replace Jehan Daas to withdraw the heavy milk wagon. Sinca that moment, Patrasche and young Nello replace Nello’s grandpa, Jehan daas, to transport the milk to town of antwerp.

One day, in town of antwerp is performed the paint competition. And the present a lot of money. While, everyday Nello is work as milkman, he have ambition to be famous artist. But, everybody doesn’t know Nello’s ambition. Nello follow that competition. But, nello doesn’t have the materials to painting. So, he use one drawing paper and charcoal. ‘

One week before cristmast arrive, nello’s grandpa can’t make a move and breath again. He is dead. Nello very sad. At 24 december, Nello cry and invite patrasche for leave their house because they can’t pay the cost money of their house. Pawnbroker dissipate a both of them to out of his house.


Cause nello doesn’t ready to take care of patrasche anymore, he entrust patrasche to alois. Then, nello go to competition place and sit and tremble on there. A few minutes, patrasche run from alois house to competition place to meet Nello. And dome people fin trembled of them are dead.
